Welcome to The Private Collection of Vintage Bags ("TPC", "we", "us", "our"), part of The House of StrangebutCool. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (theprivatecollectionbysbc.com) and your visits, bookings, purchases, and participation in events and workshops with us. By using our website or booking with us, you agree to these terms.
 

1. About us

2. Visits and bookings

• Entry to The Private Collection is by booking or walk-in. Visits can currently be arranged via WhatsApp or email.

• Entry is priced at RM100 per person unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change.

• Entry is for visitors aged 16 and above. A valid ID may be requested on arrival.

• Please arrive at your booked time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened visit.

• Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 11:00am–5:00pm, and Sunday, 12:00pm–5:00pm, with last entry at 4:00pm. We are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Hours are subject to change, and private or event bookings outside these hours may be arranged on request.

 

3. Payment

• Payment for standard admission is made on arrival at the venue.

• Where online payment is offered — for example, for events, workshops, or gift vouchers — transactions are processed securely by our third-party payment providers.

 

4. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds

• As payment for standard admission is made on arrival, there is no charge for cancelling a booking.

• If you would like to reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours before your booked visit, and we will arrange a new time subject to availability.

• The above applies to standard admission only. Private event and venue-hire bookings are subject to separate payment and cancellation terms, confirmed in your booking agreement.

 

5. Conduct at the venue (house rules)

To protect our collection and ensure everyone enjoys their visit:

• Please handle items only when invited to do so by our team.

• Photography for personal use is welcome unless otherwise indicated; commercial photography or filming requires our prior written permission.

• Please supervise children at all times.

• We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask visitors to leave for behaviour that risks damage to the collection or disturbs other guests.

 

6. Private events and venue hire

• Our space is available for private events, launches, and gatherings up to 10 guests, by personal enquiry. 

• A booking is confirmed once terms — including any deposit, the balance due, duration, and cancellation terms — are agreed in a separate booking arrangement. 

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the collection or the premises during a private event. 

• Where alcohol is served, it is provided only to guests of legal drinking age. 

• We reserve the right to end an event where the collection or other guests are put at risk.

 

7. Workshops

• Places at workshops must be reserved in advance and may be subject to a minimum number of participants.

• We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a workshop. If we do, we will offer you a transfer to another date or a refund.

 

8. Purchases

• Selected pieces from the collection may be available for purchase, offline only.

• As vintage and collectible items are one of a kind and sold as seen, [all sales are final unless an item is materially not as described]. Please inspect items carefully before purchase.

 

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and designs — is owned by or licensed to The House of StrangebutCool and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.

 

10. Limitation of liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website, your visit, or your participation in our events and workshops.

• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law.

 

11. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.

 

13. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
